The Sentinella

The Sentinella magazine is what kept me rooted in Spain when I was on the verge of returning to the UK. The opportunity crept up out of nowhere and landed right in my lap. I grasped it with both hands and refused to let go!

The Sentinella is a free expat magazine, which is distributed to businesses throughout the Costa del Sol and beyond. There are now five editions of the magazine, spanning from the outskirts of Gibraltar, all the way to Mojacar, Almeria.

Primarily, I edited and managed the Axarquia edition and after tripling the pagination within two years, decided to franchise the business model to other areas of Spain. I formed The Sentinella Global Magazine Network, with the idea of introducing the franchise into other countries later on.
